Very Old
I have a very old kitchen light cover that swings down.Does anyone know where I can get a replacement cover?
My house is very old and things to replace the items that don't work anymore are very hard to find.If anyone knows how to find a replacement or can give me advice on how to switch to a more updated item without having to call an electrican PLEASE HELP?It swings down to replace the bulb and then swings back up to be flush with the ceiling and is square.I am guessing it about 12"x12".
They sell sheet glass at Home Depot in 12X12 sheets. You can probably bend out little metal tabs to get rid of the old glass, and put in the sheet. If it doesn't exactly fit, you can get a glass cutter.
