Raw vegan... Something must be missing because I keep craving cooked food!?
OK, breakfast:
Green smoothie: LOTS of kale, LOTS of spinach, 2 oranges, 2 apples, 1 kiwifruit, a punnet of strawberries OR blueberries, a handful of alfalfa sprouts, a tablespoon of flaxseed meal or oil and a pinch of nori flakes.
Lunch: BIG plate of greens as well as lots of snow pea sprouts.
Dinner: Two apples, an orange massive amounts of sporuts.
Snacks during the day: fruit, beets, carrots, tomatoes, garlic, sprouts and raw cacao nibs.
Supplements: Six 100% spirulina pills, 4 spirilina/chollera/barley grass pills, 1 organic (plant sourced not rock sourced) mineral supplement.
I do not eat grains or nuts since I cannot find truly raw versions. I do eat some pumpkin seeds occasionally.
Why do I crave insane amounts of cooked foods?!
You obviously need to consume more fat. If you can't find raw nuts (available at Whole Foods, and found in the produce section of most grocery stores) eat an avocado. The cravings will vanish.
Buy a good cookbook and try some new recipes. Man does not live by sprouts alone.
