Golden wedding anniversary present ideas?
It's my grandparents' golden wedding anniversary in a few weeks and I have no idea what to get them, I'm prepared to go to about £100 what can I get?
Make them an album of family pictures. Email and phone their closest friends and family and ask to borrow old photos of them with your grandparents, copy them, return the originals, and then put together an album. Alternatively, if they like to go to the theatre, ballet, opera, or symphony, get them tickets. If, say, they like dogs a lot, get them tickets to the dog show or flower show. Or get them a membership in a museum near their home. At their age, they are most likely trying to get rid of "stuff" they've accumulated over the decades, so give them something to do, something that will give them memories. Why not take them to lunch!
