Where to find diamond plate metal?
I want to decorate my son's room like this http://www4.jcpenney.com/jcp/ProductsHOM.aspx?ItemID=0daafcb&GrpTyp=ENS&CmCatId=25438|25991|37009|37379. Where can I find sheets of the diamond plate metal? Any ideas how to make a wall look like diamond plate metal?
The diamond plate you see on the night stand and dresser are a polished stainless steel, which is pretty expensive. Stainless diamond plate does not come polished, it has a dull finish. So you have to polish it yourself. To get straight cut lines you will need a shear or a real steady hand. As far as getting the wall to look like diamond plate... textured walls would be hard to get the small detail of the diamonds on. Painted brick like the picture would be more practical.
